Job Description – Marketing Executive

General description
The Marketing Executive is responsible for assisting with the many facets of the sales and marketing effort including supporting sales goals, developing and extending various marketing programs, planning and implementing marketing and advertising activities and proposal preparation, in accordance with the company’s strategic direction and marketing manager’s instruction. This position may also assist to manage company’s media platforms and increase brand awareness, should be dedicated to daily media content planning, and conducting periodic media reviews.

 

Main Duties & Responsibilities:
Execute the full scope of activities related to the development and dissemination of a variety of marketing and communication tactics and materials developed and produced through the department, which includes the magazine and other publications, videos, events, promotional partnerships, brochures and other printed collateral, print, and outdoor advertisements, Internet marketing, direct mailings, talking points, scripts, image development and design, research, and/or other applicable items.
Identify daily trending news and assort an article list by a set time to get approval from Supervisor, update the list during the day with latest breaking news, and design layout, proofread, edit and publish WeChat daily posts.
Produce copywriting, articles, EDMs and all sorts of promotion requirements under the instruction of supervisor.
Take in charge of layouts, visual displays and publication of promotional materials.
Assist marketing manager to complete campaign plans, and contribute, brainstorm and share ideas of marketing campaigns in requested topics.
Provide on-site support for offline events, including helping registration, setup and coordinating external parties.
Collate and analysis data of all events and activities via platforms and reporting to senior levels.

 

Essential Skills
Experienced in Chinese social media WeChat and Weibo
Hands-on experience with marketing campaigns on social media and email marketing
Hands-on experience with web content management tools
Good knowledge of market research techniques and database
Strong attention to details and problem solving skills
Exquisite communication and people skills
Great learner, creative and analytical thinking
Fluent in Mandarin & English, both speaking and writing

 

Desirable Experience and/or Qualifications
A tertiary degree or certificate in finance, economics, marketing or commerce category is preferred
More than one year working experience preferable
Prefer candidate have sound knowledge in financial products and financial markets.
The ability to work both well in a team and autonomously
Responsible and accountable
Media Acumen
Time management and anti-pressure ability
For student candidate, who has internship experience is preferred

 

Other Information
You are required to work at variety of shifts and may include weekends when necessary. This job description reflects the present requirements. The job description will be reviewed annually as part of the appraisal process.
